Get Ready to Glow with the Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Green Glow’

Disclaimer: It is not confirmed that the Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Green Glow’ actually glows.

The Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Green Glow’ surfaced on the web a few months ago, and today we get a few more images.

The pair below features a black base with green glow accents. Not too much more is to be said about this colorway, other than the branding from the Swoosh and Kyrie’s logo, as well as the small token of remembrance to Kyrie’s mother, Elizabeth, who passed when Kyrie was a young boy.

Tech specs include a multidirectional, rounded outsole that wraps up along the midsole to maximize traction, a heel Zoom Air unit for some impact protection, and a fuse/mesh combination upper for structure.

Look for the Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Green Glow’ to release at Nike Basketball retailers on February 17 for a price of $120. Let us know what you think in the comments below and stay tuned to WearTesters.com for all your performance needs and sneaker news.

  1. The Kyrie 2 has really grown on me aesthetically, along with the 1. The bhm’s and these are the best so far imo. Nice to see some good cw’s coming out of nike basketball

      1. I say give it a try. If you like Curry 1 or Curry 2, then the cushioning of the Kyrie 2 is right between both Currys, softer than Curry 1 but firmer than Curry 2. The traction really is amazing, especially for cutting and slashing.

        1. I’m interested in your comment re: the Kyrie 2 being softer than the Curry 1. Care to elaborate more? To me, it would seem weird that the Kyrie 2, which only has heel Zoom, is softer than the Curry 1, which has full length Charged and Micro G insole.

  2. JUST SAYING, to those who are hesitant to buy the shoe because they heard cushion sucks, I bought the Kyrie 2 infernos, and it didn’t feel bad. AT ALLLL. I’M telling the truth here. I even wondered why people like Nigthwing or KICKGENIUS said cushion was bad
